The main takeaway from this event was their allegation that women taking the painkiller acetaminophen (known commonly by the leading brand, Tylenol) during pregnancy contributed to the rise in autism in children. They also promoted an herbal supplement, leucovorin, to treat people on the spectrum and launched funding for further exposomic research into autism.
