Bipartisan Momentum Behind Drug Pricing Reform

A policy agenda unicorn is unfolding in Washington. 

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee is poised to consider legislation aimed at reining in rising prescription drug costs. And the committee's leading members, liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and conservative Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), seem to be—at least somewhat—on same page. The two have introduced legislation that would tackle the middlemen of the drug supply chain.
