CVS Kicks In $50M More to Anti-Tobacco Push

CVS Health CVS -1.18% is escalating its anti-tobacco crusade, allocating $50 million over the next five years to philanthropic endeavors and partnerships with health and advocacy groups beyond its already large corporate commitment. It’s a signal to rival pharmacies that sell tobacco as well as customers and employer clients that CVS wants to be a player making the nation smoke-free.
