The Fate of the ACA under the Next President

Everyone wants to know who will be the next president.

That’s particularly true in the health care sector, where the fate of the Affordable Care Act and other sector issues could rest with whichever party and candidate wrests control of the White House.

With Super Tuesday coming up fast and furious, analysts at Height Securities and Leerink put out reports Monday predicting the future of the sector under various 2017 permutations.

The reports, both out Monday, both emphasized a Hillary Clinton presidency as a very likely possibility and suggested that, partly as a result, 2017 could bring more continuity than change in the sector.
