Oh, Jenny. Here we go again. Jenny McCarthy has opinions. About a medical issue. And even though her “medical opinions” have become so infamous for their dangerous reliance on wrong information that they have overshadowed her acting career, she can’t quite stop issuing them. And once again, her fear-driven, fact-free ranting is endangering public health.
Surprisingly, I’m not talking about McCarthy’s long-time insistence that vaccines cause autism — they don’t. No, this time, she used her SirirusXM radio show to go on a rant about HIV, chastising Charlie Sheen for not disclosing his status when she played his love interest on Two and a Half Men. Never mind that he didn’t have HIV yet — Jenny McCarthy is never one to let facts get in the way of her medical opinions. What she went on to say made that very clear once again:
