Two Senate Republicans are urging their colleagues to oppose a two-year budget deal rolled out earlier this week, suggesting that it was reached "in secret."
"Regrettably, the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 serves as a reminder that the most important and controversial legislation is still drafted in secret, behind closed doors, by a handful of senators with little or no input by the rest of the chamber," Sens. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) wrote in a "Dear Colleague" letter Wednesday.
