Shares in Chicago pharmaceutical giant AbbVie Inc. fell as much as 13 percent Thursday afternoon after the Food and Drug Administration warned that the company's treatments for hepatitis C could cause serious liver injury. The FDA demanded that AbbVie add new information about the safety risk to the warning label of two medicines, Viekira Pak and Technivie.
