The Colorado Division of Insurance is effectively shutting down Colorado HealthOp, officials for the health cooperative said Friday.
Officials for Colorado HealthOp said they received a decertification notice from the state, which could result in the nonprofit insurer unable to sell policies in 2016. Colorado HealthOp has 80,000 members, mostly individuals but also consisting of small business employees, officials say.
